This compact garden on a modern housing development demanded privacy and screening. The feature wall is in fact a planter, which we have planted with Fargesia Bamboo to create a natural screen and create a sanctuary. A cantilevered bench has been suspended from the feature wall/planter and a simple stainless steel cascading water feature provides a focal point. The wall includes three alcoves with hidden spotlights. The deck runs at a 45 degree angle from the house. It is a wonderful social space with three different seating options.
