Victorian Influence

An old Victorian property breathes new life in Westerham. The orange brick and peg tile property has influenced our style. The garden has been transformed with features that include riven slate and frostproof bricks, a copper sculpture, charred bespoke bench, copper water spouts and a sympathetic material palette that enhances the property and fits contextually. A soft planting approach, a repeat palette of plants with a modern twist. Colours include orange, purple, white with greens of many textures. Lots of ornamental grasses have been used to create movement and height.

What did our client say: "Greencube designed and then project managed the landscaping and planting of my large garden, front and rear. I am not knowledgable about gardens and so needed to rely on Mandy both for her professional design skills and also for ensuring that all the various trades and suppliers worked together. This project included a new drive, extensive paving and pathways, electric gates, lighting, water features, garden sculpture, furniture, shed and of course extensive planting including a group of mature trees. It was a pleasure to work with Mandy and her team. She has designed a beautiful garden which we are now enjoying. Moreover, her attention to detail and to keeping multiple activities all working to plan have been exemplary. The smallest details have been chased down and I have had little to do but enjoy the process and of course now the results. I could thoroughly recommend her for complex garden landscaping projects of significant scale."
