brentwood, essex this busy couple had refurbished their Victorian home beautifully and extended the kitchen breakfast area, they wanted a smooth transition from the newly installed bi-fold doors out to their east facing garden with an opportunity to capture the sunshine all day by the position of two terraces at each end. The planting included a modern take on box parterres and an abundance of ferns and sculptural Fatsia japonica. The raised planters are faced with stone.
