Mandy Buckland B.A (Hons), MSGD garden designer

Founder and Managing Director - Greencube Garden and Landscape Design

Accredited member of the Society of Garden Designers

My approach to design is simple; I listen hard to my client ensuring I encapsulate their ideas, then move to another level to develop their garden space into an inspirational, harmonious and exciting design, enabling the client to realise their dreams and achieve a wonderful outdoor space. I offer a full consultancy service embracing each project with passion and spirit enabling the creation of dynamic, beautiful, enviable gardens.

Gardens are an important element in our lives; whether a sanctuary and relaxation zone or a place to socialise they should reflect you and your lifestyle. Allow me to unfold your initial thoughts and develop a proposal that will be both individual and creative..

I focus on dividing the space with simple, strong lines that are balanced, connecting the space to its contextual surroundings, softened by a palette of planting. My horticultural knowledge is extensive and I am able to visualise schemes, heights, colours, textures and seasonal interest to achieve an eye catching well balanced planting scheme.

An IT consultant turned garden designer, Mandy Buckland followed her passion for art, sculpture, gardens and design by completing a BA (Hons) degree in Garden Design at Hadlow College and Greenwich University and has been working in the industry since 2002 with a Gold Medal at Chelsea Flower Show, Gold Medal and Best small Garden at Hampton Court Flower Show and over 150 gardens built to add to her achievements so far.
